Recognizing Juneteenth

Last updated: Jun 19, 2020

We join the nation in commemorating the 155th anniversary of Juneteenth, Freedom Day.

This year’s celebration may resonate in new ways. All SMG locations, including our Urgent Care Centers, will close at 5 pm today, with the exception of scheduled appointments which will be honored. Moving forward, we will make Juneteeth a paid holiday for all Summit CityMD employees in recognition of the day’s significance and in celebration of the rich diversity of our teams.

We hope this day brings moments of connection, illumination and joy for our communities.
