Julie Dziedzic-Carroll, MSW, LCSW, worked as a Hospice Social Worker for five years, specializing in advanced care planning and counseling for end of life issues, grief and bereavement. Most recently with Valley Health System, Ms. Dziedzic-Carroll provided in-home counseling to hospice patients and families to enhance the quality of their experience during the end of life process. She worked collaboratively with the hospice team and provided psycho-education to colleagues and the community.
Ms. Dziedzic-Carroll has extensive experience in medical social work, having worked in hospital and acute care rehabilitation settings at what is now Hoboken University Medical Center. As a Social Work Care Manager, and later Case Management Coordinator, she has worked with medically complex adults in areas such as orthopedic and stroke recovery, oncology, and renal disease. Ms. Dziedzic-Carroll is expert in addressing concrete service needs, enhancing coping skills, and supporting physical and mental health and wellness.
