Daniel Hart, MD, specializes in infectious diseases, with a particular interest in immunocompromised patients with infections, HIV, hepatitis C and hepatitis B. In addition to his role at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Hart is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he previously served as the Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.
While working with the Pediatric Infectious Disease physicians at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Hart cared for young adults with HIV and provided immunizations for patients and counseling for travel.
Dr. Hart has served on the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Stem Cell Transplant Committee and the Robert Wood Johnson Heart Transplant/VAD Committee. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of New Jersey, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He has been featured in Castle Connolly "Top Doctors" listings.
