Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dahlia Philips-Rodriguez, MD, practiced with Rivington House Health Care in New York City, where she cared for chronically ill patients with complex infectious diseases such as HIV / AIDS. She also has practiced privately with Infectious Disease (ID) Consultants, Inc, of Boynton Beach, Florida, where she treated all hospital-related infections, chronic wound infections, travel-related, and tropical illnesses.

Dr. Philips-Rodriguez is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and Infectious Disease Society of America.
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Philips-Rodriguez enjoys spending time with her young son and participating in his activities. She also enjoys physical activity, including kickboxing and rollerblading. Passionate about art, Dr. Philips-Rodriguez enjoys taking art classes during the winter.
