David L. Isralowitz, MD, specializes in geriatric medicine and internal medicine.
In addition to his position with New Jersey Physicians at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Isralowitz is a senior attending physician at Hackensack University Medical Center and an assistant clinical professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
An advocate of volunteer and community service, Dr. Isralowitz volunteered to be Founding Medical Director of the Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) Home Hospice Program. He is a member of the 55 Kip Senior Center Board of Directors. For more than 30 years, Dr. Isralowitz has funded and delivered the Annual David L. Isralowitz, MD, Scholarship Award to students pursuing a career in health care.
A Bergen County Home Health Care Physician of the Year, Dr. Isralowitz has been recognized with citations of appreciation from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Medical School, the Rutherford Ambulance Corp, Rutherford Police Benevolent Association, and Rutherford Board of Education. He has earned the Rutherford Citizen of the Year Award and Rutherford Chapter Veterans of Foreign Wars Award. He is listed in the Castle Connolly "Guide to America's Top Physicians."
When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Isralowitz enjoys spending time with his family and his poodle, Big Red.
