Corey K. Smith, MD, FACEP, specializes in emergency medicine.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Smith was Associate Director of Service and Operational Excellence, Recruitment Champion, and an attending physician in emergency medicine with Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. He also has practiced with St. Peters University Medical Center, Brandon Regional Medical Center, and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey, and Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida.
Dr. Smith is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a diplomate of the United States Licensing Examination® Board, and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians Board of Directors, MD Mindset Advisory Board, National Medical Association, and Association of Ringside Physicians. He is Ringside Physician Codirector of the USA Amateur Boxing Association of New Jersey.
To his credit, Dr. Smith has volunteered for the Student National Medical Association Minority Emergency Medicine Mentoring Program and Caribbean Medical Mission.
Dr. Smith is a recipient of the Jersey Shore University Medical Center Physician of the Year Award and Jamaican Organization of New Jersey Medical Young Achiever of the Year Award.
When Dr. Smith is not working with his patients, he enjoys community service and fitness training.
